ACTU Education Online has been developed in partnership with Learning Seat. The online training courses have an interactive, multimedia online format and can be undertaken immediately via any internet connected PC, from home or office.
ACTU Education Online provides an opportunity for union members and activists to increase their knowledge and improve their skills across a wide range of business functions.
We offer a range of both accredited and non-accredited online courses, including:
- A Federal Right of Entry course for organisers, which fulfils the training requirements associated with obtaining a right of entry permit
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (BSB41604)
- Project management
- IT and computer skills
The Organising Centre realises that a mix of face to face and online training is both popular and effective. As such, the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety is offered in two ways: as Blended (a combination of workshops and online learning) and as a purely online version for union members who are unable to attend face to face training.
Many Education Online courses are funded and supported by The Union Education Foundation (TUEF) an education trust of the ACTU, which works in partnership with the Organising Centre to deliver training to delegates.
