1. Position: Research Analyst – Corporate Research Unit
About the ACTU Corporate Research Unit
Corporate behaviour, governance and performance are union issues. Management
practices and decisions affect the lives of employees in myriad ways. Poor practices
and decisions can result in job losses, higher staff turnover and increased pressure on
employees and their families as well as potential destruction of shareholder value.
The Corporate Research Unit operates as a research engine within the Australian Council of
Trade Unions which explores these issues. These issues affect not only the jobs and
living standards of employees, but the broader interests of our 2 million members as
consumers, citizens and superannuation fund members.
Unions are now embarking on an exciting new phase of the campaign for rights at work.
We need talented and energetic research analysts to join our Corporate Research Unit
to work on strategic campaigns which grow union membership.
